As a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor, I will train adults working with adolescents ages 12-18 to recognize signs of substance abuse and mental health crises. Participants will learn about common mental health issues and how to respond in both crisis and non-crisis situations. This course is 8 hours and is offered in person or online, with certification valid for three years upon completion.
